Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
Ask 10 men what it means to be a man and you will no doubt get 10 different answers. The method of how we get to that answer is a simple one for men: Testosterone. Testosterone is the the key hormone in men, it drives energy, mood, muscle mass, bone density, sexual health, and overall performance. As men age or face certain medical conditions, testosterone naturally declines, leading to symptoms that can sap your energy, focus, and confidence.
Symptoms TRT Can Address
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is designed to restore healthy hormone levels and help you reclaim your best self. Common issues that may improve with treatment include:
- Low Energy and Fatigue: Feeling worn down no matter how much rest you get.
- Loss of Muscle Mass and Strength: Struggling to build or maintain muscle despite your efforts.
- Weight Gain and Increased Body Fat: Especially around the waist.
- Mood Shifts: Irritability, low motivation, or a sense of being “off.”
- Reduced Libido and Sexual Performance: Decreased desire or difficulty maintaining performance.
- Cognitive Fog: Trouble concentrating or remembering details.
- Bone Health Concerns: Weaker bones, higher risk of fractures.
A Personalized Approach to Hormone Health
At Optimum Wellness Center, your care is personal. We meet face-to-face, take the time to listen, and create a treatment plan designed specifically for you. We’re not a faceless app or a busy office that keeps you waiting, you will have continued care with the same provider to follow up an address your concerns. We are real people dedicated to helping men feel strong, confident, and fully alive.
HRT and TRT can be especially powerful when couples tackle hormone imbalances together. It turns the process into a team effort—each of you working to improve energy, mood, sleep, and overall wellbeing while supporting the other’s progress. For many couples, it strengthens communication, boosts accountability, and helps both partners feel their best at the same time… like a shared project, just without the trips to Home Depot.
At Optimum Wellness Center, we believe in a personalized, holistic approach to hormone therapy. When you choose us for your TRT, you can expect:

What TRT is not
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is not a shortcut, a steroid cycle, or a “quick fix.” It is not bodybuilding-level dosing, and it’s not about pushing hormone levels beyond normal physiologic ranges. Our goal is medical optimization for men with documented deficiency and symptoms — not performance enhancement or supratherapeutic dosing.
TRT is also not a one-size-fits-all treatment. It requires proper evaluation, lab confirmation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness. It isn’t appropriate for everyone, and it should never be started without a thorough medical assessment and follow-up plan.

Provider
Hello! I’m Rosco, the CTO (Chief Testosterone Officer) here at Optimum Wellness Center. I am a nurse practitioner with more than 20 years in emergency medicine—two decades of late nights, controlled chaos, and enough wild stories to fill a book I probably shouldn’t publish. After seeing how many men were running on empty, feeling tired, unfocused, and just “not themselves,” I shifted my focus toward something that actually gives guys their edge back: testosterone optimization.
I focus on helping men understand what’s really going on with their hormones and how to fix it safely and effectively. My approach is straightforward, evidence-based, and designed to make the whole process easy to understand—because you shouldn’t need a medical degree to feel like yourself again. And yes, I still crack a few jokes in the process… because if we can improve your testosterone and your mood, that’s a win-win.
